Welcome to the Confessions Bot. By inviting or using this bot in your Discord server, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

1. Purpose of the Bot

Confessions Bot is designed to provide a space where users can anonymously share thoughts, feelings, and confessions in a safe and respectful environment.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Confessions Bot responsibly and in compliance with Discord’s Terms of Service.

You must NOT use the bot to:

  • Harass, threaten, or target individuals or groups
  • Share illegal, harmful, or abusive content
  • Post explicit content involving minors (zero tolerance)
  • Dox or attempt to expose private information
  • Spam or intentionally disrupt bot functionality
  • Use the bot for impersonation or deception

3. Anonymity Disclaimer

While Confessions Bot is designed to support anonymous-style confessions, true anonymity cannot be guaranteed. Server administrators or bot developers may still have access to limited logs for moderation and safety purposes.

4. Data Usage

Confessions Bot may store minimal data required for functionality, such as:

  • Server IDs
  • Channel configuration
  • Message references related to confessions (for moderation or system use)

We do not sell, share, or misuse user data.

Access to confession content is strictly limited. We can only view confessions that are reported for moderation or safety purposes.

5. Moderation & Responsibility

Server owners and administrators are responsible for how the Confessions Bot is used in their servers. They are expected to moderate content appropriately and ensure community safety.

We reserve the right to restrict or remove access to the bot from servers that violate these terms.

6. Service Changes

Features of the Confessions Bot may be updated, changed, or removed at any time without prior notice.

7. Termination

We may terminate or block access to the Confessions Bot for any server or user that violates these Terms or Discord’s policies.
