This Privacy Policy explains what information Dead by Daylight Bot ("the Bot", "we", "us", "our") collects, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. The Bot is developed and operated by GhostLabs.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum data required to provide our services:

  • Discord Server ID to keep leaderboards and settings separate per server
  • Discord User ID & Username to track wins and display rankings on leaderboards
  • Game Statistics number of wins as Killer or Survivor, stored per server
  • Temporary Lobby Data active game lobbies, cleared immediately after each trial ends

❌ Data We DO NOT Collect

  • Private messages or direct message content
  • Channel messages or chat history
  • Email addresses, real names, or payment information
  • IP addresses, device info, or location data
  • Any personal data not explicitly listed above

3. How We Use Your Information

Collected data is used solely for:
  • ✅ Operating game lobbies and trials
  • ✅ Calculating and displaying server-specific leaderboards
  • ✅ Maintaining game statistics across sessions
  • ✅ Troubleshooting technical issues
We will NEVER:
  • Sell, rent, or share your data with third parties
  • Use your data for marketing or advertising
  • Store your data longer than necessary

4. Data Storage & Security

  • Data is stored on secure, private servers hosted for GhostLabs
  • All stored data is server-isolated one server's data is never shared with another
  • We use standard security practices to protect stored information
  • No external databases or third-party analytics services are used
  • Data is never transmitted publicly or over unsecured connections

5. Data Retention

  • Active game data deleted immediately after the trial ends
  • Leaderboard statistics stored until:
    • A server owner requests a reset
    • Major bot updates may reset statistics
    • The Bot is removed from your server (data may be retained for up to 30 days then deleted automatically)

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:
  • ✅ Request access to any data associated with your server or user ID
  • ✅ Request data deletion leaderboard stats can be reset at any time
  • ✅ Request correction of any inaccurate data
  • ✅ Withdraw consent stop using the Bot and remove it from your server

7. Third-Party Services

  • The Bot operates on Discord your use is also governed by Discord's Privacy Policy
  • We do NOT use Google Analytics, tracking services, or external data platforms
  • This Bot is a fan-made project not affiliated with Behaviour Interactive

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Significant changes will be announced via our Discord server. Continued use of the Bot after changes means you accept the updated policy.
